Testimonials

Brenden Camblin (US Marine Infantryman)

“That is so interesting, because I still have full field of view!”
(When comparing the sight picture and FOV of A.I.M.™ against a Trijicon RMR red dot optic).
“With this one (Trijicon RMR) I still have the fishbowl effect… and if I shoot this enough, say with a few hundred rounds, then my lens gets really dirty. With this one (A.I.M.™) I don’t have to worry about that.”
(When discussing the fact that A.I.M.™ has no glass or electronics in it’s design).
“I can do the same thing with this but, with this its Trijicon (RMR) so its still an optic, it’s still electronic so there’s still a failure point. But with this one (A.I.M.™) I don’t even have to worry about it.”

Cheyenne Morris (Experienced Shooter)

“That’s neat, with both eyes open there’s no thought process to it… if you wanna get a quick shot off then just put the front sight post right in the middle.”
(When discussing how quickly he was able to attain sight picture and engage with the A.I.M.™.)

“I f***ing hate this, because I just spent $800 on this Aimpoint® ACRO and now I don’t need it.”
(In reference to now preferring the A.I.M.™ over his current red dot setup).

Shyanne Clapp (New Shooter)

“I prefer this over a red dot, it just presents itself way faster to me.”
(In reference to the sight picture comparison between A.I.M.™ and red dots).

“When using the A.I.M.™, I feel much more confident in my ability to hit the target quickly, while also being able to handle the firearm safely.”
(Discussing the new-shooter friendly features of the A.I.M.™.)

Innovating modern defense Solutions for the citizen defense industry

Why AIM

The AIM was invented out of necessity. One day my grandmother called me and told me she had purchased a firearm and wanted me to show her how to use it. I came over and began showing her the cycle of operations and handed it back to her so she could run through what I had shown her only to discover that she couldn’t rack the slide back due to the severe arthritis she had in her hands.

Enhanced Weapon Manipulation

The A.I.M.™ rear iron sight gives its user increased dexterity during weapon manipulation when racking the slide of their handgun, with a footprint on the firearm that is smaller than most red dot optics. This feature allows for exceptional one-handed weapon manipulations when the operator’s off-hand is incapacitated or unavailable.

When paired with a .300” height, tritium or fiber-optic illuminated FSP, sight picture mirrors that of an analog red dot. The 45° and 35° internal angles of the A.I.M.™ correspond with the natural 45° and 35° angles of the human body at the shoulders and pelvic girdle respectively. This allows the A.I.M.™ to intuitively coincide with these angles in a way that frames the target while maintaining full field of view.

Diamond of Death

The inherent Diamond of Death™ rear aperture of the A.I.M.™ creates a large, open sight concept that is similar in form factor to most electronic red dot optics. This allows the user to quickly center the front sight post into the Diamond of Death™ for exceptionally rapid target acquisition and engagement even in low-light conditions.
